Southlands Elementary

Southlands Elementary School is a unique, community-focused public school nestled in a scenic, semi-rural pocket of West Vancouver near the Fraser River. Known for its strong connections to nature, the school places a heavy institutional emphasis on environmental stewardship, place-based outdoor education, and social responsibility. In early 2024, the school celebrated the unveiling of a custom Indigenous House Post, highlighting its close, respectful relationship with the Musqueam Nation, upon whose traditional lands the campus sits.
